1. What was surprising about the activity?
The simplicity of the activity surprised me the most. When I tried to do Scratch during the problem solving unit, I got frustrated and gave up.
2. How did it feel to be led step-by-step through the activity?
It was so much better being led step-by-step. I felt more comfortable and I understood it.
3. As a learner (with Scratch and beyond), when do you like having more structure?
When do you like having more freedom?
When do you feel most creative?
I like having a lot of structure when I am faced with a big project that
is worth a lot. Those are the things I need clear directions for. I want more freedom when doing smaller activities where things are simpler. I feel most creative with more freedom given to me.
